What I've done so far

Hi there
I'm Loren, I don't know about you, but here where I live there is not a drop of snow on the ground, in fact, it's raining! I can not believe that its a month before Christmas and nothing. This is hard for me because last year before the 'big move' the first snowfall had been in September! Either way, Christmas is just a couple of weeks away and this year I am semi-prepared (yay me!)
The small tote bag for my dad.

Christmastime is my favorite time of the year for many, many reasons some of them being that I can sing Christmas carols and bake! Right now I am totally obsessed with a cookie recipe I found with a Christmas spin. It' sooo good and easy to make. I'll post the recipe later. The only thing I did differently was that I added some cinnamon and in another batch, I added lots of crushed candy cane. The cookies came out green and red, so Christmasy.

Besides putting up all of the decorations, I have almost finished sewing and knitting all of my Christmas presents since, weirdly, it was much easier for me to hand make the gifts than buying.
  • For my dad:
    • I sewed a tote bag for his Bible, it's super cute! I had some fabric with tiny dudes playing golf and thought it would be perfect for him.
  • For my brother:
    • Had no idea what to buy for him and so I found some beautiful yarn and decide to knit him a scarf.
  • For my mom:
    • As for my mom's gift, I haven't even started yet. I wish to give her a tote or bag but I don't know any good, not complicated patterns. I had a scarf I made for her but had not given it to her and so I'll gift it to her.
I wish I could post pictures of my gifts but me being me I packaged them without taking any pictures *sigh* I'll make sure to post pictures after Christmas unfortunately.

Now that I talked about me, what are some things you'll be doing now that the holidays are getting closer?
As for time, I have to leave right now, but I'll be back. Hope to see you next time.
P.S. I wonder how many times I said Christmas

  1. Can't wait for the recipe, Loren.

    1. I'll post it as soon as I can,Ella. Thanks for the enthusiasm :)
