Canada Day Floral Wreath | DIY

Friday, June 26, 2020

Happy summer everyone! For the last couple of days, it's been 35°C all the time, but thankfully it rained yesterday so that really helped us cool down and feel more alive.

Since going outside was unbearable, one of the things I did was be crafty (I know so hard!) and since Canada Day is a week from now, I thought why not do a Canada Day craft? As it was simple enough make why not make a tutorial of it.

And here it is, a simple and beautiful Canada Day Floral Wreath.

Mid-Year Update | 2020 Edition

Friday, June 12, 2020

We're now halfway done through the year which means: mid-year update! Can you believe that we are now halfway through the year!?! It seems spending a quarter of it in quarantine makes one lose track of time.

This one focuses more on what has been going on behind the scenes with Plaid + Sugar than my personal life, although I do share the exciting things!

Linen Summer Shorts | Pattern Review

Saturday, June 6, 2020

It's now June, which means two things a) summer is almost here and b) we're halfway through the year!

Today I'm going to focus on the first thing, summer. In the last couple of weeks, the weather has been all over the place one day it's sunny the other wet, but otherwise, most of the days are warm which means my summer garments have come out of storage. While doing so I realized that I did not have any cute summer shorts and remembered that I had a pattern and so I made some!
